...at Northside Tavern

There's a couple of very talented singer/songwriter's from the northeast playing there tonight.

Tim Fite is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter from Brooklyn, who dips into many musical genres including alternative and indie, alternative country and hip-hop. Some artists that are similar in some ways include Alejandro Escovedo, Neko Case and Centro-matic.

Benjy Ferree is a singer/songwriter from Maryland, who writes songs reminiscent of American Roots Music. Some artists that are similar in some ways include Deer Tick, Elvis Perkins and John Vanderslice. He's also one of a couple thousand artists who will perform in a few weeks at Austin's South by Southwest Festival.

Northside Tavern is located at 4163 Hamilton Avenue, almost directly across the street from Shake-It Records. The show starts at 10 pm.
