I ran into AA Bondy outside the Know Theatre after his set and we exchanged a few words. He's getting ready to head down to Texas to play the Austin City Limits Festival on Sunday.
He joined some of his brother-in laws (The Felice Brothers) on stage for several of their songs. They also played a bad ass cover of "John the Revelator", a traditional blues and gospel call and answer song, first recorded by Blind Willie Johnson in 1930.
