Coheed and Cambria is a heavy metal, prog rock band that formed in New York fourteen years ago. They are a band influenced by music of an elder era (Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy, Bad Brains, At the Drive-In).
They make concept albums about The Armory Wars, a comic book series written by lead singer Claudio Sanchez.
Coheed's most recent album, Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow, debuted at #6 on the Billboard charts.
They've toured with everyone from Thursday, Thrice and AFI, to Linkin Park, Clutch and The Fall of Troy, as well as being apart of several festivals including Warped Tour and Bamboozle. This year they'll be hitting the road with Slipknot and Trivium on the .All Hope Is Gone tour.
