Bonnaroo 2009 Artist: of Montreal

Indie, pop band, of Montreal, is not Canadian. They formed in the powerful music city of Athens, Georgia. Frontman Kevin Barnes, has been the only constant member since the beginning, but he's had quite a long cast list.

of Montreal changes their style between albums, by combining musical experimentation, catchy melodies and sing-along choruses. They are influenced by indie pop, psychedelic music, vaudeville, afrobeat, funk, krautrock and reggae.

Barnes has recently been working with Andrew VanWyngarden from MGMT, on a project called Blikk Fang. As of now, both of Montreal and MGMT are scheduled to play on Saturday at Bonnaroo, so if we're lucky, we may get to see a Blikk Fang show.
