Just moments ago, the Rothbury Music Festival released the initial artist lineup for the second annual summer festival, held on Fourth of July Weekend in Rothbury, Michigan at the Double JJ Ranch.
Not a bad lineup at all.
Here's a look into the lineup:
There's a little bit of everything here. Jam bands from different generations like The Dead and String Cheese Incident. Folk and country gods, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. Bluesy, southern jam band rock from the Black Crowes and Gov't Mule. A collaboration between Damian Marley and Nas. There's a group called Quannum All Stars which includes hip-hop's Lyrics Born, The Mighty Underdogs, Gift of Gab and Lifesavas.
Other bands that stick out to me include Yonder Mountain String Band, Cold War Kids, John Butler, Girl Talk, Femi Kuti & the Positive Force, Martin Sexton, Railroad Earth, The Hold Steady, Brett Dennen, Son Volt, Jackie Greene, EOTO, Pretty Lights and the Low Anthem.
