Delta Spirit is an up-and-coming indie rock band from San Diego, who incorporate elements of americana, punk and soul into their music. A band made up of multi-instrumentalists, they bring in unconventional instruments like trash can lids and orchestral bass drums.
The five friends music relationship dates back to 2005, however, they have only released one full length album, last year's Ode to Sunshine. The album has been receiving rave reviews from the music world.
They have already shared the stage with the likes of Cold War Kids, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Dr. Dog. They're drawing comparisons to the Violent Femmes, The Waterboys and Gomez.
